The developers, Jerry and Karen Zink, are long-time Durango entrepreneurs with deep roots dating back to the early European settlers. ME&E was invited to join the design team to help manifest the Zink’s vision. We coordinated all building systems to enable a broad mix of tenant types, prior to knowing who the tenants would be. As the units sold, ME&E served each tenant individually to meet the needs of their business or home — from an oncology clinic to a hot yoga studio to residences. We also designed all exterior lighting for this three story building and the parking lot, to keep tenants and visitors safe while shielding the neighbors from glare.
