Orthopedics Associates P.A

Orthopedics Associates P.A. needed a bigger, more powerful MRI machine for its medical practice. To accommodate the larger machine, an addition to their building was needed. ME&E integrated the specifications of the architect, the manufacturer’s engineer, the structural engineer, and the magnetic shielding consultant to tie everything together. Additionally, as a critical safety measure, ME&E needed to design specific ventilation for the MRI coolant, which was liquid helium. We designed all the MEP systems for this small, but complex space.
